The Enfield Story.

Enfield FC has implemented a Little Rovers program starting from 3 years old girls and boys and has extended a development program which runs all year round. This is specifically set up for Enfield Rovers FC.

The club focusses on all various age groups and on all levels and ability. We have teams with children ranging from 4 and half playing in U6’s to 65 year olds, playing in the over 45s competition. The teams are for all grades/ages for both male and female players. We are proud that Enfield has one team currently in our flagship men’s competition the BBC (Bill Brackenbury Cup) and have had our teams play in the final series since we entered a team in this competition. The BBC team is for our juniors to aspire plus to offers our junior players a pathway.

The club is fortunate enough to have probably the best ground facilities in the district with 4 large fields, 1 mini for the U8 and U9’s and a 2 half field for our U10 and U11’s teams. Our U6’s and U7’s play currently in a club competition format playing against other clubs in the district that are at a proximity of 15 to max 20 min from Henley Park.

Renovations on the amenities building have been finalized and will be utilised by our club for the first time in 2 years. Two of our 4 full sized fields are well underway of being renewed and improved. We hope to have access to them for our upcoming winter season 2022. Additionally, since January 2020 we have a half sized synthetic field for our patrons to use.

Enfield FC also offers a summer soccer competition for ages 5 - 45s to keep everybody fit and engaged and develop their skills during the off season.

Over the years the club has produced many excellent players that have progressed to high levels and none better than our Brett Holman ex Socceroo who played at Enfield for 7 years and played in Europe for a number of years and finishing his career at Brisbane. Brett still drops in at Henley Park and takes time to speak to players every time he comes to Sydney. The Enfield FC executive committee will endeavour to continuously improve and expand our volunteer group to enable the club to move forward and our vision is to have qualified coaches for every team in the next few years.

Everyone is welcome at our football family Enfield Rovers FC and its nice to see that players that played with us as juniors have grown up and now have their own family and are coming back with their own children to start them off playing football/soccer.

Enfield Rovers Football club was established in 1961, we are a volunteer-driven community club, which is part of the Canterbury District Soccer Football Association. Over the years the club has grown and has achieved on many occasions the club champions trophy, which is based on overall team performances throughout the year. The club can also boast about many champion of champion trophies won over the past years, within our competitive first division teams who competed with other districts within NSW.
